Long Time, No Blog!

Hello Everyone!

It has been a crazy summer so far! We have had lots of moving and lots of emotions! Kristian came home on July 14th. Nothing is greater than seeing your spouse for the first time in six months! We spent about 9 days in Ludington getting a few things done and enjoying nature. We kayaked, fished, ran (more Kristian than Emily), and spent quality time with family and friends. After spending a night in Livonia, we made our way back to VA. It was a harder transition than expected, especially with moving back in which got a little overwhelming. We are now settled back in to the house. We have some plans for updates around the house (things we have thought about doing for the past year, but haven't been here to do them!) which will keep us busy. Kristian starts back to work in a week and Emily is on the job search (a couple of interviews scheduled next week). We are excited to finally get started with our new life together. We can't wait to renew our vows and celebrate our marriage with everyone in October. We are also looking forward to guests! Chateau Eckley is open for visitors! Come one, come all!
